About Scott McNeill

I founded McNeill Spatial Intelligence with a deep respect and passion for geospatial work. Spatial data is far from abstract. It influences real decisions about land, infrastructure, security and investment. Having worked in environments where information quality directly affects outcomes, I carry that responsibility into every map and analysis produced by this company.

My background is rooted in geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), imagery analysis, and disciplined analytical workflows with 12 years of service as a 35G (Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst) for the U.S. Army. Over the years, I have learned that clarity matters more than volume, and that poorly framed or poorly presented spatial information can be as harmful as missing data. This perspective shapes how I approach this profession: with rigor, restraint, and an insistence on results.

I believe the geospatial field is more than a technical skill set. It is a profession that requires judgement and stewardship. McNeill Spatial Intelligence reflects that belief. Every product is treated as a professional intelligence deliverable, built to withstand scrutiny and to be trusted by decision-makers.

Beyond client work, I am committed to the continued advancement of geospatial technology and analytical methods. The services offered today represent a foundation, not a finish line. My long-term focus is on building tools and approaches that improve how spatial information is analyzed, understood, and applied, in complex, real-world environments.

I view my role not simply as an analyst, but as a trusted partner. I take the time to understand each client’s objectives, constraints, and concerns, and I remain accessible throughout the life of a project to discuss ideas, answer questions, and refine direction as needed. I believe the strongest outcomes are built through clear communication and thoughtful collaboration.

If you value disciplined work, high standards, and a partner who is straightforward to work with, I would welcome the opportunity to support your next decision.
